Trust & Patient Safety at MP Weight Loss

MP Weight Loss is committed to providing clear, medically guided weight loss care with transparent pricing, appropriate patient screening, and responsible medication education. This page explains how we approach patient safety, medical oversight, privacy, medication disclosures, and educational content.

Medical Oversight

Prescription weight loss medications are prescribed only after an appropriate medical evaluation. Treatment plans are individualized based on each patient's health history, medication tolerance, current weight, goals, and clinical appropriateness.

Patients should not increase, decrease, or stop medication without guidance from the MP Weight Loss team.

Who We Treat

MP Weight Loss evaluates patients for medical weight loss options based on health history, age, body mass index, medication safety, and clinical need.

  • BMI and health history are reviewed before treatment.
  • Medication options may not be appropriate for every patient.
  • Patients are encouraged to keep their primary care provider informed.

Meet Our Medical Team

MP Weight Loss is physician-guided and focused on safe, practical, and personalized care. Our team helps patients understand medication options, lifestyle changes, dosing instructions, follow-up expectations, and long-term weight maintenance.

GLP-1 medications may not be appropriate for patients with certain medical histories, including:

  • Medullary thyroid cancer
  • Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 2
  • Pancreatitis
  • Gallbladder disease
  • Currently breastfeeding

Compounded Medication Disclosure

Some medications offered through MP Weight Loss may be compounded medications prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies when appropriate and legally permissible. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, although the active ingredients may be used in FDA-approved medications.

Your provider will discuss available treatment options, medication risks, expected benefits, and alternatives during your consultation.

Transparent Pricing

MP Weight Loss believes in simple, transparent pricing. We do not use hidden membership fees to disguise the true cost of care. Medication and visit costs are reviewed before treatment begins.

MP Weight Loss does not file insurance for weight loss visits or medications.
